Historical Models
The reproduction of historical instruments is for me a very enriching exercise since it allows me to consider other ways of constructing and imagining the guitar. It is also a way to recreate the beauty and sound as much as possible of a guitar that has become inaccessible by its rarity and value.
Guitares d'après Robert Bouchet
Copies of the guitars of the French luthier Robert Bouchet. Painter and luthier, his aesthetic guitars have become legendary for their sound quality and their use by great artists. (the Presti-Lagoya duo, Julian Bream, the Pomponio-Zarate duo). The shape of the head as well as the design of the rosettes and the threading associated with a harmonious overall design laid the groundwork for French guitar making in a sober and elegant style. From 1956 he employed a bracing style with a large crossbar which he called "barre d'âme" The result is a very characteristic, long, precious and meaty sound.
Guitar after Viuda y sobrinos de Esteso 1941
Copy of a guitar from the nephews of the widow of the Spanish luthier Domingo Esteso manufactured in 1941. Precursor guitar in the style of flamenco guitars to come from Hermano Conde. Here it is a guitar set like a classic, close to the world of sound
of a Torres with very deep bass, direct highs and an old charm.
Guitar after Domingo Esteso 1933
Copy of a guitar by the Spanish luthier Domingo Esteso made in 1933. Disciple of Torres in the way of building, we find in the sound of this guitar a timbre with great charm typical of this luthier, dark and cavernous in the bass, velvety and silky in the treble.
Spruce/Cypress after A.de Torres
Guitar largely inspired by the SE14 of 1878. It is a very light guitar of a dimension a little lower than the current standard. The sound is particularly round and robust with lots of harmonics.
Spruce/Cypress after A.de Torres 630
Guitar using the second plantilla created by Torres for his guitars. The scale is 630 mm. The fingerboard is in walnut and the tuners are in the shape of traditional pegs for easier use. The sound is full, delicate and intimate.

A recreation of the Torres SE 117 with walnut back and sides and modern machine heads. A very lively and vibrant guitar with very harmonious proportions.
spruce / cypress
Guitar recreated according to the plans of the Torres SE117. The smallest plantilla used by Torres. The scale is 604 mm. Despite its reduced proportions, its featherweight (870 grams), the sound is extremely flattering and full. It is a very pleasant and easy to play instrument which particularly excels in the romantic repertoire (Coste, Sor, Tarrega, ...)
spruce / walnut
A version of the small Torres plantilla in 630 mm pitch with wider pegs, sides and less ornamentation. A deep and full sound compared to the size.
