Romantic guitar that testifies to the collaboration between the great Parisian luthier René Lacote and the virtuoso Napoléon Coste (1805-1883).

Coste wanted a seventh string from the very beginning, which would allow for greater versatility. He also wanted a larger body volume. In addition, he drew inspiration from Viennese guitars like the Stauffer: a raised fingerboard, 24 frets, and an innovative tailpiece system invented by Coste (the Coste system).

The result is a romantic guitar suited to the composer's virtuoso repertoire, a concert instrument.
